Glossary of Terms

First, let's familiarize ourselves with some common acronyms.

CDE: Combined Driving Event

VSE: Very Small Equine (any equine including donkeys and mules that stands under 39" at the withers)

ADS: American Driving Society

DT: Driving Trial

HDT: Horse Driving Trial

ADT: Arena Driving Trial (are we noticing a trend here yet?)

And sometimes, because once is never enough, Happ's holds a DT-T! "What's that," you say? Why, a "Driving Trials, Twice!" of course! Two separate and intense one day competitions right after each other held on a Saturday and Sunday. Don't forget the exclamation mark (you'll know why after you've driven in it.)

Listings besides acronyms are coming soon, but please go to www.minihorsecde.com to learn more about this stuff. It's a wonderful, comprehensive, and one-of-a-kind introductory site!
